If you didn't want the spring-loaded disk holder, then these molle disk holders are a great alternative. They are a low profile design that holds two H8R disks (6mm version) which takes up minimal space on your rig. They simply slide in and out of place with tension to keep it in place.
These are quite tough to fit on, but once they’re on, they won’t slip off.
